Real Wedding: Santa Barbara Style at San Ysidro Ranch

Kelly  |  March 26

This small and intimate wedding held at San Ysidro Ranch is the epitome of Santa Barbara elegance.

The relaxed groom, wears a suit without a tie, but with a thoughtful detail embroidered in his suit — the couples’ initials and their wedding location.

The ceremony was held in front of the outdoor fireplace at the ranch and decorated simply with candles.

Petite wrought iron chandeliers were hung in the trees to add a bit of sparkle.

Afterwards, the couple took photos on the spectacular grounds of San Ysidro… The field of lavender, fuschia bougainvillea, all make for a stunning backdrop for the photographers, Michael & Anna Costa.

Delicious bites, champagne for toasting, and stunning flowers, by Camilla Svensson Burns complete the affair, all planned by the always lovely, Jill LaFleur.

  1. Thank you for the feature! I loved this intimate wedding and the fact that they surprised all of their guests with this wedding (that’s right…no one knew they were coming to a wedding when they booked this family vacation!) was a bonus that was so much fun to be a part of planning! Camilla did an incredible job with the floral and I am just in Love with San Ysidro Ranch! One of my favorite wedding and honeymoon venues!

  2. They surprised all the wedding guests?! That must of been such a treat and a surprise! Hopefully everyone had nice wedding attire with them in their suitcases! San Ysidro ranch is so nice and even nicer for a wedding, must have been a spectacular day for everyone! I’ve personally have never been been to a wedding here but I have stayed here a few years ago and it was beyond luxurious! Beautiful in every way and the amenities were over the top. My daughter goes to UCSB now and I much rather be closer to her then stay all the way out there and have to commute to campus everyday.
