I love the idea of using strawberries to anchor the event design for a wedding. I mean who doesn’t like strawberries? I picture this wedding taking place at a charming B & B. The wedding would be small and intimate and there would be loads of bubbly and delicious strawberries to snack on. Local, organic food would make up the rest of the menu and be served picnic style, all on a warm spring day.

I love all thing English, and a good cup of tea being very high up on the list (after of course, a proper pint). I was inspired by the photo of the chair with the tea cup (styling by Portland Mitchell). I love the layers of brocade (so English) and the portrait above is so darn quaint. I picture this wedding with the ladies decked in all their finery, hats punctuated with feathers, delicate dresses, and lady like gloves. The wedding would take place in the morning and a wedding luncheon would follow with tea and yummy treats for all the guests. The color scheme would features layers of pink with dashes of blue and gold for contrast.

I love a wedding that doesn’t take itself too seriously and leaves plenty of room for fun and whimsy. The mood for this board was inspired by the lady in the bottom row (photo by Anna Kern). I love the gingham ribbon in her hair! I picture this wedding with lots of fun (and cheap ideas) using old food tins to hold centerpieces, little vignettes of ribbon and thread for the guest book tables, and of course, one pair of flirtatious pink heels.

This inspiration board was inspired by the girl sitting by the window. I love the flowers in her hair, the open window, and I can totally picture her as a carefree relaxed bride. The wedding would feature a garden fresh menu, tons of sweets, flower girls in marabou skirts, and bunches of fresh tulips will decorate the tables.

I love the apple orchards in England, and so for this inspiration board I designed a simple, chic wedding. The bride would wear wellies and her hair down, her neighbors would play music while sitting on apple crates during the ceremony. Guests would bring baskets full of food and drink for the reception. And the table for reception would be decorated with the apples of the orchard.

For this inspiration board, I used shades of purple, for light lavender to plum, with touches of pink for contrast. I picture this wedding taking place in the springtime, a dachshund would serve as ring bearer and walk with a pretty flower girl. The tables would be dressed in a lavender linen with shades of purple for the flowers to create a cohesive look.

I don’t know about you, but the many days of gray skies and rainy weather has me dreaming of springtime… I love this little bundle of mason jars each with a unique bloom and tied up with ribbon. Its so sweet and dainty.

And I love this bundle of daffodils tied with blue gingham ribbon. Ahh, spring…
