I love a good old door, lining a cobblestone lane….

Perhaps made of rough hewn wood…

Or painted a shocking hot pink.

Hello everyone, a few additional photos of my home. You can see the Design*Sponge post right here. Above is Mira with her doppelgangers…

My collection of old milk bottles, medicine bottles, ink wells, and vintage mason jars.

Part of my fabric collection…

Detail shot of my colored glass collection. The blue bottles I bought for an Americana themed wedding.

On my desk, a plethora of containers to hold all my office supplies. Above a framed piece of my grandmother’s hand writing in Japanese with the her suggestions for my middle name.

My dad’s Madame Butterfly print against the orange wall in my kitchen. All photos by Kirsten Ellis of Beaux Arts Photographie.

I love washi tape and I thought it would be fun to use for wedding decor rather than fresh flowers.

I used butcher block and then lined the 10′ runner with washi tapes cut at various lenghts. It was time consuming, but I love how it came out.

I found colorful rainbow fabric from Michael Levine’s and had napkins made. Enjoy Cupcakes was kind enough to provide cupcakes for the table.

The washi tape was carried through to the candles, I love how the candlelight comes through the translucent washi tape.

Happy crafting!

Is my new favorite activity for a wedding.

And the photo opportunities? Priceless.

See what I mean? This is Opal, Amber & Kevin’s daughter of Enjoy Cupcakes. How cute is she!?

Super excited to be featured on the landing page of Brides.com! The colorful rainbow shoot had tasty rainbow cupcakes courtesy of Enjoy Cupcakes and a washi tape runner than took 8 hours to make. Many more details to come! Photos by Beaux Arts Photographie.

This is exactly why I own so many shoes.
Photo by Michele Waite. The bride’s dress is pretty radical too, tea length and lace, just sayin’.

I’m feeling a bit frazzled this week (already) and a beachside vacation sounds so perfect.

I’d find some shade and read a book, or maybe just stare at the water for hours.

Doesn’t that sound perfect?

I’m really into colorful anything lately and these Helvetica posters by ModernPop are right up my alley.

The posters are meant for children but I think they’d work just about anywhere. You can check out their shop of Etsy right here.

The sun is out and the roses are starting to bloom…

I think I might need to stop by the flower shop and pick up some muscari and tulips and make a pretty bouquet for my office…

Happy Monday’s my dears!

Ms. Megan is a bit under the weather, so I’m filling in today. I recently bought a bunch of Matte Stephen prints and I’m so in love. This one hangs above my bed. Gotta love an Owl rocking a pipe, bow tie, and umbrella!

This print is perfectly on theme for this week. Its been pouring here!

I may have to get this one soon. A cat family portrait is just too silly and awesome. You can see more Matte’s work right here.
